“They who know Your name put their trust in You, for you LORD did not abandon who search for you Adonai.”
Psalm 9:10
Introduction
God does not reveal His Name to satisfy human curiosity. He reveals His Name so that He may be known.
From the first pages of Scripture to the final vision of Revelation, God makes Himself known through His words, His works, His covenant, and His presence among His people.

More than a list of names
Scripture does not present the names of God as a vocabulary list. A name appears within a story.
A name is spoken in a particular historical moment, in a particular human circumstance, and often in response to something God has done or revealed.
Therefore, each name is explored through its biblical occurrence, historical setting, meaning, the story surrounding its revelation, its theological significance, and its development throughout Scripture.
Where a title is a biblical phrase rather than a formal naming event, that distinction is preserved.
